“Cobra Kai” creators Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald are set to produce a spinoff of John Hughes’ iconic 1986 comedy “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” at Paramount Pictures.
“Sam and Victor’s Day Off” will expand on a gag in the original as it follows the same-day adventure of the titular valets who took the Ferrari on a joy ride.
Richard Edson and Larry ‘Flash’ Jenkins starred in the roles in the original film. Bill Posley is set to write the new take while Paul Young is producing.
