Ahead of its rebranding from CBS All Access to Paramount+ in a few weeks, ViacomCBS is reportedly planning a revival of its long-running crime procedural “Criminal Minds”.
Paramount+ along with original show producers CBS Studios and ABC Signature have not commented on the news, though the new exclusive offerings for the Paramount+ service will be announced during an investor day next week with this revival expected to be among then.
The drama originally aired on CBS for fifteen seasons and concluded last year. Longtime showrunner and executive producer Erica Messer is expected to return for the new incarnation though it’s not clear if any cast members will be back for the new take.
