Andy Samberg’s well-reviewed romantic comedy feature “Palm Springs” is set to premiere on Hulu on July 10th.
The Lonely Island produced film was one of the most high profile at this year’s Sundance Film Festival where Neon and Hulu teamed to acquire it in the biggest sale in the festival’s history – selling the project for a massive $17.5 million and 69 cents.
As part of the deal, Neon would so a traditional theatrical release ahead of Hulu’s VOD launch. That arrangement obviously hasn’t happened.
Max Barbakow helms the film in which Samberg attends a wedding in southern California. Cristin Milioti, J.K. Simmons, Meredith Hagner, Camila Mendes and Peter Gallagher co-star.
