David Oyelowo and Rashida Jones will join Rebecca Ferguson and Tim Robbins in the forthcoming post-apocalyptic drama series “Wool” for the Apple TV+ service.
Based on Hugh Howey’s book, the story is set in a ruined and toxic future where a community exists in a giant silo underground, hundreds of stories deep.
Men and women live in a society full of regulations they believe are meant to protect them. Morten Tyldum will direct the series and executive produce alongside Ferguson, Howey, Graham Yost, Remi Aubuchon, Nina Jack and Ingrid Escajeda.
Oyelowo will star as the Silo’s sheriff while Jones will play a member of the IT handling the Silo. Robbins will play Jones’ Robbins, while Ferguson stars as an independent and hardworking engineer.
