91-year-old veteran character actor and comedian Orson Bean was reportedly struck and killed by a car in Los Angeles on Friday night.
Bean was reportedly jaywalking at the time of the incident and was hit by a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver remained at the scene and rendered aid.
Bean has appeared in such films as “Being John Malkovich,” “Inner Space,” “Anatomy of a Murder” and “Miracle on 34th Street,” “The Equalizer 2” as well as shows like “Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman,” “Modern Family,” “Desperate Housewives,” “The Facts of Life” and “Grace and Frankie”.
He was probably best known for being a panelist on various versions of “To Tell The Truth”. He is survived by his third wife, actress Alley Mills.
