“One Piece Film Red” Sets U.S. Release

Crunchyroll has announced it will release Toei Animation’s highly anticipated “One Piece Film Red” in North America on November 4th.

In the film, the beloved singer Uta, whose voice has been described as otherworldly, is renowned for concealing her identity when performing. Now, for the first time ever, she will reveal herself to the world at a live concert.

This marks the fifteenth installment of the “One Piece” global treasure hunting anime and manga franchise. The new film has taken over $93 million at the box office in Japan since it was released in early August.

Crunchyroll and Toei Animation will host a subtitled and dubbed premiere in the United States on October 6th to coincide with New York Comic Con. The film also hits Australia and New Zealand on November 3rd.

Goro Taniguchi helms the project which was written by Tsutomu Kuroiwa.
