“One Battle” Tops 2025 Film Critics Awards

Paul Thomas Anderson’s highly acclaimed “One Battle After Another” has been named the Best Picture of 2025 by the National Society of Film Critics.

The organisation held its 60th annual awards voting meeting on January 3rd, critics voting in-person at gatherings in Los Angeles and New York and also participating virtually across the United States.

The film also landed Best Director, Supporting Actor (Benicio del Toro) and Supporting Actress (Teyana Taylor) – making it the biggest winner for the night, as well as a runner-up for cinematography.

Other notable winners or runners up included “Sinners,” “The Secret Agent,” “It was Just an Accident,” “Blue Moon,” “Sentimental Value” and “Nouvelle Vague”. Here’s the full list:
