Nigerian-American filmmaker Julius Onah (“The Cloverfield Paradox”) has been set to direct the fourth installment of the “Captain America” film franchise at Marvel Studios.
Anthony Mackie will reprise his long-time character of Sam Wilson who became the new Captain America by the end of last year’s Marvel Disney+ series “Falcon and the Winter Soldier”.
Malcolm Spellman, who served as creator and head writer of that series, is penning the script with show staff writer Dalan Musson.
It’s not known where the character will go next. No production start date has been revealed.
