Olyphant More Join Evans Havoc
Netflix

Timothy Olyphant is among multiple new names set to join Tom Hardy and Forest Whitaker in the Netflix action thriller “Havoc” which hails from “The Raid” writer/director Gareth Evans.

Joining the former “Deadwood” and “Justified” star are Justin Cornwell (“The Umbrella Academy”), Jessie Mei Li (“Last Night in Soho”), Quelin Sepulveda (“The Other End”), Sunny Pang (“Headshot”), acting veteran Luis Guzman, Malaysian actress Yeo Yann Yann, and UFC mixed martial artist Michelle Waterson.

The story begins after a drug deal gone wrong and centers on a bruised detective who must fight his way through a criminal underworld to rescue a politician’s estranged son.

At the same time he unravels a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city. The project marks the first project under Evans’ recent deal to produce and direct films exclusively for Netflix for the next several years.

Evans also created the crime series “Gangs of London” which began production on its eight-part second season three weeks ago ahead of a return on Sky and AMC next year.
