Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader will face off once again going by the concept art in a new featurette for the Disney+ “Star Wars” series “Obi-Wan Kenobi” with the clip now available on the Disney+ service.
The short preview offered no footage from the series, but did showcase some concept art which includes Obi-Wan (Ewan McGregor) and Vader (Hayden Christensen) locked in a lightsaber battle amidst somewhere in flames.
The sneak peek was released on the service today and McGregor also appears in the clip and says: “To have another swing at each other might be quite satisfying.”
The new series is set a decade after the events of “Revenge of the Sith” in a time when it’s not safe as there are Jedi hunters out there.
Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Moses Ingram, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, Benny Safdie and Maya Erskine also star.
Also below is a teaser for a new Boba Fett doco short which hit the service today and comes ahead of “The Book of Boba Fett” series in December.
