“Black Panther” star and Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o is in final negotiations to play the lead role in “A Quiet Place: Day One” at Paramount Pictures.
A spinoff of 2018’s “A Quiet Place,” the project is based on an original idea from that film’s star/director John Krasinski. Plot specifics are under wraps.
Michael Sarnoski (“Pig”) will direct the film which is due for release March 8th 2024. Krasinski, Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller will produce.
The two previous films in the franchise have earned $638.6 million to date.
