Norman Reedus will join the ensemble cast of the Jeff Nichols-directed drama “The Bikeriders” at New Regency.
He joins a packed cast that includes Austin Butler, Jodie Comer, Tom Hardy, Michael Shannon, Boyd Holbrook and Damon Herriman.
The fictional story is inspired by the photography of Danny Lyon’s 1967 book of the same name. “West Side Story” scene stealer Mike Faist recently joined the cast in the role of Lyon.
Set in the 1960s, the film will follow the rise of a fictional Midwestern motorcycle club as seen through the lives of its members.
The club evolves over the course of a decade from a gathering place for local outsiders into a more sinister gang, threatening the original group’s unique way of life.
Nichols will helm the project which is now filming.
