Noomi Rapace is set to lead the cast of a film adaptation of Swedish writer Jerker Virdborg’s thriller novel “Black Crab” for Netflix, her first film in her home country in years.
Set in a post-apocalyptic world during an endless winter, the film follows six soldiers who are sent on a dangerous mission across the frozen sea to transport a package that could finally end the war.
Commercials and music video director Adam Berg is writing and directing while Malin Idevall and Mattias Montero are producing. Shooting will take place in 2021 with a release planned for 2022.
