Netflix has officially renewed its Jewish romantic comedy series “Nobody Wants This” for a third season. The order comes just two weeks after season two was released on the streamer.
Loosely based on the show’s creator Erin Foster’s life, Adam Brody stars as a rabbi who falls in love with Kristen Bell’s Joanne, an agnostic sex podcaster.
The first season saw them trying to figure out if the relationship would work. The second season begins months into their relationship as things get more serious following their commitment to each other.
The series is also starting to explore a potential blooming relationship between Joanne’s sister, Morgan’s (Justine Lupe), and Noah’s brother, Sasha (Timothy Simons).
The announcement dropped on social media and included a video of Bell telling cast members on individual FaceTime calls they were coming back.
Leighton Meester, Seth Rogen, Arian Moayed, Miles Fowler, Alex Karpovsky and Kate Berlant were among the second season guest stars.
