Nicole Kidman Sets “Know to Be True” At Amazon

Prolific actress and producer Nicole Kidman, who has a first-look deal at Amazon, will star in and executive produce the drama series “Things I Know to Be True” for the platform.

Based on a play by Andrew Bovell, who is adapting the scripts for the show himself, the story centers on a married couple who watch as their adult children make unexpected decisions that change the course of their lives.

The series will explore the resilience of an enduring marriage and how familial love can evolve. This marks her third Amazon series following “The Expatriates” and “Pretty Things” which are both still in the works.

Amazon Studios, Matchbox Pictures and Blossom Films are backing the project which will be executive produced by Kidman, Bovell, Per Saari, Jan Chapman, Amanda Higgs and Alastair McKinnon.

Kidman has most recently been filming a role in Hulu’s “Nine Perfect Strangers” in Sydney, is currently on HBO’s “The Undoing” and will soon be seen in Ryan Murphy’s musical “The Prom”.
