Entertainment One is in talks to pick up the North American rights to Stephen Frears’ cycling drama “The Program” just before its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival.

Ben Foster stars as cycling champion Lance Armstrong who won the Tour de France seven times but was stripped of the titles after doping revelations emerged from Irish sports writer David Walsh (played by Chris O’Dowd). [Source: Variety]

Tween sensation Selena Gomez has not only joined the cast of the sequel to the Seth Rogen/Zac Efron comedy “Neighbors” (aka. “Bad Neighbours”), she’s already begun filming her scenes for the movie.

Gomez was spotted shooting scenes for the project in Atlanta. The storyline for the follow-up is being kept under wraps. The film is currently targeting a Summer 2016 release. [Source: E ! Online]

Scott Porter (“Friday Night Lights”) has been cast opposite Patrick Fugit and Philip Glenister in Cinemax’s exorcism drama “Outcast” from executive producer Robert Kirkman and Chris Black.

Fugit plays a young man who has been plagued by possession since he was a child and seeks answers. Porter will play Donnie Hamel an amiable and engaging type-A former jock whose work returns him home to Rome, West Virginia. [Source: Deadline]

New one-sheets are out for the Chloe Moretz-led sci-fi alien invasion thriller “The 5th Wave” along with the official one-sheet for the upcoming “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” prequel film entitled “Leatherface”.
