Warner Bros. Pictures has released not one, but two new trailers and six new posters for its highly-anticipated movie musical “In the Heights”. The double dose of trailers come fifteen months after the initial teaser debuted back in December 2019.
“Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda award-winning breakthrough musical is set over the course of three days, involving characters in the largely Hispanic-American neighborhood of Washington Heights in New York City.
The story mainly centers on bodega owner Usnavi (Anthony Ramos) who is dating a beauty salon employee and dreams of opening a bar in the Dominican Republic. Corey Hawkins, Melissa Barrera, Jimmy Smits, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Leslie Grace and Stephanie Beatriz co-star.
Jon M. Chu (“Crazy Rich Asians”) directs from a script by Quiara AlegrÃa Hudes. Miranda, Anthony Bregman, Mara Jacobs, and Scott Sanders serve as producers.
