Max has premiered a new trailer for the animated “Harley Quinn” spin-off series “Kite Man: Hell Yeah”.
The ten-episode adult animated comedy revolves around lovable loser Kite Man and his new squeeze Golden Glider as they moonlight as criminals to support their foolish purchase of Gotham City’s seediest dive bar.
It’s a place where everybody knows your name, but not necessarily your secret identity. Matt Oberg will lead the voice cast as Kite Man and Dean Lorey will serve as showrunner.
Executive producer Justin Halpern says that if “Harley Quinn” is basically “The Mary Tyler Moore” show with a psycho killer as its lead character, “Kite Man” is essentially “Chees” but for supervillains.
As the clip shows, there’s a bunch of villains to come in the release with Darkseid, Lex Luthor and Bane all seen in the new trailer.
Kaley Cuoco, Sam Register and Patrick Schumacker also executive produce the series which will arrive in 2024.
