HBO has premiered the official trailer for its newest limited crime drama series “Task” which hails from “Mare of Easttown” creator Brad Ingelsby.
Set in the working-class suburbs of Philadelphia, an FBI agent heads a Task Force to put an end to a string of violent robberies led by an unsuspecting family man/
Oscar nominee Mark Ruffalo stars as an FBI agent named Tom alongside Tom Pelphrey, Emilia Jones, Thuso Mbedu, Fabien Frankel, Raúl Castillo, Sam Keeley, Jamie McShane, and Alison Oliver.
Additional cast members include Silvia Dionicio, Phoebe Fox, Martha Plimpton, Owen Teague, Margarita Levieva, Mireille Enos, and more
The seven-episode series is created, written, and executive produced by Ingelsby. Ruffalo, Mark Roybal, Paul Lee, David Crockett, Ron Schmidt, Nicole Jordan-Webber, and Jeremy Yaches also executive produce.
“Task” premieres September 7th on HBO and HBO Max.
