FX has announced a July 18th premiere date for Timothy Olyphant’s return as Raylan Givens for the about to release limited series “Justified: City Primeval”.
In addition, the new trailer for the new series has also been released and can be seen below. Dubbed “an extension of the universe,” Olyphant’s Raylan is balancing life as a marshal and as a part-time father of a 14-year-old Willa (Vivian Olyphant).
A chance encounter on a Florida highway sends him to Detroit, where he crosses paths with violent sociopath Clement Mansell (Boyd Holbrook), aka The Oklahoma Wildman, who has successfully evaded authorities.
The new series hails from showrunners Dave Andron and Michael Dinner, who executive produce alongside Olyphant, Graham Yost, Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly, Taylor Elmore and Chris Provenzano.
Aunjanue Ellis, Adelaide Clemens, Vondie Curtis-Hall, Marin Ireland, Norbert Leo Butz, Victor Williams and Vivian Olyphant also star.
