2K and Gearbox Software have released a new 18-minute gameplay trailer offering a much more in-depth look at gameplay from “New Tales from the Borderlands” ahead of its release on October 21st.
Much of the focus of the clip is on three characters – probability expert and scientist Anuradha ‘Anu’ Dahr, her cocky adopted brother Octavio Wallace Dahr from Meridian City, and the hoverchair-bound Fran Miscowicz.
In the reveal, the three lovable losers must travel through the sewers of Promethea, racing against Tediore to open a dormant Vault. As they figure out a way past the Tediore guards, they must also battle for honor and glory in a Vaultlanders duel.
Gearbox is committed to the narrative style of Telltale Games’ prior “Tales from the Borderlands” title, but this spiritual successor adds some unique gameplay elements, including new stealth scenes and combat minigames.
The title will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
