Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios are set to wrap production on “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” this coming Tuesday, December 16th, according to THR
The project has been filming since the start of August, when actor Tom Holland was photographed filming stunts on the streets of Glasgow involving a tank. Now, nearly five months later, filming is coming to an end with much of the project having been shot at Pinewood Studios.
In addition, Michael Giacchino is confirmed to be returning to score “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” after composing the scores for the previous three Holland-led films, along with this summer’s “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”.
Destin Daniel Cretton is directing the new film, which is being raced through post-production in order to meet its July 31st 2026 release date.
Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Mando, Tramell Tillman and Marvin Jones III co-star in the film.
A live-music-to-film version of “Spider-Man: No Way Home” is expected to begin a UK tour in March, with worldwide dates to follow throughout the rest of the year.
