A couple of key TV promo trailers have been released today.
After a bunch of small themed teaser clips, Amazon Prime has now unveiled the official and proper teaser trailer for “Moonlight” director Barry Jenkins’ new limited series “The Underground Railroad” which has also set a May 14th premiere.
Based on Colson Whitehead’s 2016 novel, the story takes place in an alternate history where a subterranean train helps slaves escape the South to freedom. The series follows two slaves as they flee from a Georgia plantation.
Following the Disney+ TCA presentation the other day, the service has revealed the official trailer for the original series “The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers” which premieres Friday, March 26th.
The ten-episode season is set in present day Minnesota, the Mighty Ducks have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team. A cut player joins a team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat ducks with the help of Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez).
Finally, Hulu has released the full trailer for the second season of Mike McMahan, Justin Roiland and Josh Bycel’s hit animated sci-fi comedy “Solar Opposites”.
The series centers around a team of four aliens who have escaped their exploding home world, only to crash land into a move-in ready home in suburban America. They are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome.
