Walt Disney Studios has announced that old Fox’s X-Men spin-off feature “The New Mutants” has locked in a new theatrical release date – this time it will open August 28th this year.
That’s not the only date announced by the Mouse House today who’ve pushed back “Ron’s Gone Wrong” by two months to April 23rd 2021, taking over a sport reserved for an untitled 20th Century Studios project.
The Josh Boone-directed film has bounced around the calendar a bunch with at least four previous release dates, but the studio has been fairly adamant about it going theatrical.
