Disney has premiered a new trailer for the 2D animated series “Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur” as part of D23 Expo on Saturday.
Actress/singer Diamond White plays 13-year-old super-genius Lunella Lafayette who goes on adventures with her ten-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur.
After Lunella accidentally brings Devil Dinosaur into present-day New York City via a time vortex, the duo works together to protect the city’s Lower East Side from danger.
Alfre Woodard, Anthony Williams, Libe Barer, Sasheer Zamata, Jermaine Fowler and Laurence Fishburne star in the series executive produced by Fishburne and Steve Loter. It debuts later in 2022.
The Mouse House has also released a trailer for the second season of its sports comedy-drama “Big Shot” starring John Stamos and returning on October 12th.
Created by David E. Kelley, Dean Lorey and Brad Garrett, with Lorey serving as showrunner, the story centers on Marvyn Korn (Stamos) who is ousted from his position as head coach for an NCAA basketball team.
He is given a chance at redemption with a coaching position at Westbrook, an elite private high school for girls, and soon learns that the teenage players require empathy and vulnerability – foreign concepts for the stoic Coach Korn.
Jessalyn Gilsig, Sophia Mitri Schloss, Nell Verlaque, Tiana Le, Tisha Custodio, Cricket Wampler, Sara Echeagaray and Yvette Nicole Brown co-star in the ABC Signature-produced series.
