Warner Bros. Pictures has announced that the Wachowski’s original 1999 film “The Matrix” will be coming to IMAX for the first time.
The film will screen for two nights only next month in limited showings across the United States on December 7th & 8th.
The re-release coming ahead of the opening of “The Matrix Resurrections” in one month on December 22nd with that film coming to cinemas, including IMAX, along with a day-and-date HBO Max release.
The new film also released a series of eight character posters today which you can see below and include interesting new glimpses of some of the movie’s supporting characters:
