The three-day Brand Licensing Europe 2025 confab is underway in London right now, with more than 2,500 brands represented on the show floor showing off licensed consumer products and IP coming to retail shelves between now and early 2027.

That includes Amazon MGM Studios, and Mattel executives Greg Coleman and Ruth Henriquez, who were on hand to tout next year’s big-budget, live-action “Masters of the Universe” movie.

The pair shows off new concept art of the film’s version of Snake Mountain, the home of the evil Skeletor on the planet Eternia, with glimpses of that art now available below and showcasing a design quite faithful to the original.

Speaking with Toonado.com, Henriquez says fans of the franchise should be quite happy with the film:

“The property has never gone away; it continued to reinvent itself. This feels like the perfect moment. Fans have been asking for more and we know there is a trend powered by nostalgia. Most importantly, we have been waiting for the perfect partner and creative team to bring ‘Masters of the Universe’ to life in a way that feels epic.”

Coleman says the magnitude of the sets and level of detail of the film’s production “was out of this world” and the movie is essentially “a story of Adam, who is a regular person and has to grab the power”.

He adds that the film’s director Travis Knight had a vision with the film so that “even if you have never seen ‘Masters of the Universe,’ it’s a fun, entertaining story… For the long-term fans, there are Easter eggs in the film, but stepping back, the entry point for fans is broad. The entry point will be very approachable for everyone. This will be the film everyone will be talking about.”

“Masters of the Universe” arrives in theaters on June 5th 2026.
