The first official episode titles for Hulu’s revival of “Futurama” have been confirmed.
Created by Matt Groening, the animated sci-fi comedy first aired in 1999 on FOX before being cancelled after four seasons. Four DTV movies followed which became the fifth season, with Comedy Central then airing two more seasons – the last of which aired in 2013.
Nearly a decade later, the show is coming back with what’s effectively an eighth season which has a twenty-episode order and gets the original creators and the original voice cast back.
Today, ten of the new run’s episode titles have been revealed by Screen Rant with some suggesting callbacks to prior storylines such as a sequel to Season 2’s “Parasites Lost” and the possible return of Kif and Amy’s babies. The titles are:
“The Impossible Stream,”
“Rage Against The Vaccine,”
“Zapp Gets Cancelled,”
“The Prince And The Product,”
“Related To Items You’ve Viewed,”
“Children Of A Lesser Bog,”
“How The West Was 1010001,”
“I Know What You Did Last Xmas,”
“Parasites Regained,”
“All The Way Down.”
The long-anticipated new season of “Futurama” is set to air sometime on the streamer in 2023.
