With the fifth annual The Game Awards being given away tonight, the ceremony was used to offer some world premiere reveals of new titles – three of them rather large ones.
Four years since the last game won many best of year awards, BioWare has revealed a teaser for a new “Dragon Age” game with Solas’ voiceover heard and the hashtag: #TheDreadWolfRises included.
Further details about the game are still very much under wraps and it’s likely a good few years off, but at least this confirms talk of a new title in the series coming. The trailer was just revealed this evening during the Game Awards.
Also coming is “Far Cry New Dawn,” a title set seventeen years after the nuclear apocalypse at the end of “Far Cry 5”. The world has been engulfed by nature once again and violence is the only answer in this new world.
Players fight to survive in a post-apocalyptic world as you take up arms to fight alongside a friend in online co-op. Lead the fight against the highwaymen and their ruthless leaders, the Twins.
“Far Cry: New Dawn” will release sooner than you think – February 15th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Finally Warner Bros. Interactive and NetherRealm Studios have unveiled “Mortal Kombat XI,” the latest hyper-violent fighting game entry which will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One in 2019. A full reveal of the game will take place in January and will allow for “Injustice 2”-style customized characters.
