The biggest challenger to Marvel’s current grasp of the top of the box-office is another Marvel project it seems, albeit from a different studio. Three weeks out from the film’s release, 20th Century Fox has released some new photos from the “Deadpool” sequel.
The snaps offer more looks at the man himself, Zazie Beetz as the luck-manipulating mutant Domino, Josh Brolin as Cable, and Julian Dennison as the kid everyone is after. Jack Kedy, Shioli Kutsuna, Terry Crews, Lewis Tan, Bill Skarsgard, Leslie Uggams, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Karan Soni and Stefan Kapicic also star in the film opening May 18th.
Also out are several new images from Lars von Trier’s “The House That Jack Built,” a project which marks the polarizing filmmaker’s return to the Cannes Film Festival. The photos offer a first look at Uma Thurman in the film which follows a serial killer that operated in the United States in the 1970s.
The story takes us through five incidents as we are introduced to the murders that define Jack’s development as a serial killer. Matt Dillon takes on the role and is joined by Bruno Ganz, Siobhan Fallon Hogan, Sofie Grabol, Riley Keough, and Jeremy Davies. That film is slated to be released via IFC Films in the Fall.
