Netflix has released a number of featurettes for three high-profile animated series today.
The most anticipated is the second season of the highly acclaimed and award-winning animated series “Blue Eye Samurai” which is currently in production.
Creators & executive producers Amber Noizumi & Michael Green, as well as executive producer Jane Wu, offer insight as to how Mizu’s quest for revenge will continue in the new run. That includes a tease that some characters you thought may have died – are still alive.
Next comes the official teaser trailer for “Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch,” a new animated series based on the video game series from Netflix and Ubisoft.
The creators of the “John Wick” franchise are behind this take starring Liev Schreiber as Sam Fisher. The show launches October 14th.
Finally comes a ‘first look’ trailer for the second season of the anime series adaptation of the “Devil May Cry” video games. It’s brother vs. brother in the new season as Dante takes on Vergil.
Adi Shankar, Capcom and Studio Mir are behind the new run which will release on the streamer in 2026.
