Following in the wake of the D23 Expo’s Disney live-action film panel on Saturday, some more news and publicity material from Ryan Coogler’s “Black Panther” has arrived.
First up, actor Sebastian Stan has confirmed to GMA that despite his Winter Soldier character currently residing in a cryotube in Wakanda, the character makes no appearance in “Black Panther”.
Next, Marvel Studios concept artist Ryan Meinerding has released a D23 exclusive poster showing the King of Wakanda (Chadwick Boseman) along with Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Okoye (Danai Gurira) watching over the kingdom.

Finally comes some lovely character portaits of much of the main cast including Chadwick Boseman, Angela Bassett, Michael B. Jordan, Danai Gurira, Forrest Whittaker, Lupita N’yongo & more.
“Black Panther” opens in February next year.
