Disney has teased two first looks and revealed a date announcement about series titles set to premiere on the Disney+ service in the back half of 2025 or 2026.

First, Marvel Animation‘s four-part animated anthology series “Eyes of Wakanda” has been moved up three-and-a-half weeks and will now premiere on August 1st.

Additionally, all four half-hour episodes will be released on the streaming service simultaneously. The studio has also confirmed that the series takes place on the Marvel Cinematic Universe‘s sacred timeline – thus, everything in them is canon to the MCU.

Next, the official StarWars.com site has been updated to release two pieces of media drawing attention at San Diego Comic Con.

The first is a photo of Eman Esfandi’s new look as Ezra Bridger in the currently filming second season of “Ahsoka”. The second is a photo of the title character in the new “Maul” limited animated series.

All this comes ahead of “Star Wars creator George Lucas making his San Diego Comic-Con debut in Hall H with a panel on the Lucasum Museum of Narrative Art on Sunday.
