Daniella Pineda (“Jurassic World”) has been cast in a series regular role while Tyler Ross, Marissa Cuevas, Nana Ghana, Monique Kim, Derek Smith, Keith Powers, Samantha Ware, Juan Castano and Saamer Usmani have all joined the cast of Netflix’s ten-episode social thriller anthology series “What / If”.
“Revenge” producer Mike Kelley created the series which will explore the impact of acceptable people committing deplorable acts. The first season revolves around a mysterious woman (Renee Zellweger) and her lucrative but dubious offer to a cash-strapped newlywed couple (Jane Levy and Blake Jenner) in San Francisco.
Zellweger plays a shrewd, mercurial, successful and unapologetically post-feminist venture capitalist. Pineda plays the analytical, conscientious and work-obsessed CFO of Bioprint who always does the right thing – even as she’s setup to fail.
Each new season will tackle a different morality tale inspired by culturally relevant events. Melissa Loy, Alex Gartner, Charles Roven, Robert Zemeckis and Jack Rapke executive produce.
