Netflix held its first Upfronts event, a pre-taped affair following its cancellation of an in-person event in New York, this afternoon and revealed some release windows, renewal orders and more.

First up, the ten-part reality competition series “Squid Game: The Challenge” will premiere on the service in November. The reality series features 456 players competing for a $4.56 million cash prize – the largest to date for a reality series.

Contestants must compete in a series of games inspired by the show plus some new ones and their strategies, alliances, and character will be put to the test as competitors are eliminated around them.

Next, the sixth and final season of “The Crown” and the fourth season of “Sex Education” are confirmed to be premiering this Fall, but specific dates have yet to be set. More specific is the fifth season of “Love is Blind,” the Emmy-nominated dating show to return in September.

Next, the streamer handed out some renewal orders. The coming-of-age series “Ginny & Georgia,” starring Brianne Howey and Antonia Gentry, has scored both a third and fourth season. Sarah Glinski (“Degrassi: The Next Generation”) has been named showrunner for the upcoming seasons, replacing Debra J. Fisher.

Also today, “Virgin River” fans will be happy to hear that Netflix has ordered a sixth season of the popular romantic drama – the renewal coming in well before the fifth season has its premiere sometime this Fall on the streamer.
