Sony Pictures Animation has announced that “Motel Transylvania,” a new Netflix TV series based on the “Hotel Transylvania” franchise, will hit the service in 2027.
A first-look image has also been posted of a ‘gremlin wrecking crew’ hard at work.
In the series, Drac & Mavis take a break from their Transylvanian haunts to set up a brand new resort for humans and monsters in the California desert. Vampires and sunshine… what can go wrong!?
No word as yet regarding who will and who won’t be reprising their respective roles in the series, as the cast list changes from project to project.
The franchise began in 2012 with the original Genndy Tartakovsky-directed film followed by sequels in 2015, 2018 and 2022.
Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez and Kevin James are among the stars who have lent their voices to past films.
