Netflix and Dr. Seuss Enterprises are teaming up for five new animated pre-school series and specials based on the works by beloved children’s book author Theodor Geisel (aka. Dr. Seuss).
The slate of stories set to be adapted includes:”One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish,” “Horton Hears a Who!,” “The Sneetches,” “Wacky Wednesday” and “Thidwick The Big-Hearted Moose”.
This builds on the streamer’s existing Dr. Seuss content that began with the animated series “Green Eggs and Ham” in 2019. The second season of that series commences on April 8th.
Netflix getting more involved in Dr. Seuss content follows their acquisition of the rights to the stories of Roald Dahl in September last year.
