Netflix closed out its TUDUM fan event today with the news that they have officially renewed fantasy drama “The Witcher” for a third season.
In addition they have greenlit another anime “Witcher” feature and are planning a more kid-friendly spin-off series. That’s not all though as both a first-season retrospective trailer and two clips from the second season were released.
One of “The Witcher” clips sees Geralt in conversation with a warthog style being – his old friend Nivellen. Another has him defending Ciri from a sinister intruder.
There’s also a featurette for the soundstages of “The Witcher: Blood Origin” prequel spin-off which is set centuries earlier and deals with the time the worlds of humans, monsters and other being merged.
“The Witcher” second season premieres on December 17th.
