Netflix Orders “Everything Sucks” TV Series

Netflix has given a ten-episode straight-to-series order for the 1990s-set coming of age comedy “Everything Sucks”.

The story follows two groups of high school misfits: an A/V club and a drama club, who collide in 1996 Oregon. Peyton Kennedy, Jahi Winston, Patch Darragh, Claudine Nako, Sydney Sweeney, Elijah Stevenson, Quinn Liebling and Rio Mangini star.

Ben York Jones (“Like Crazy”) and Michael Mohan (“Save the Date”) created the series and will executive produce alongside Jeff Pinkner (“Fringe”), Scott Rosenberg (“Zoo”), Josh Appelbaum (“October Road”) and Andre Nemec (“Alias”).

Mohan will direct the bulk of the episodes. The series will premiere on Netflix in 2018.
