Actress Katee Sackhoff has confirmed that Netflix’s space drama “Another Life” has been cancelled with the show not being picked up for a third season.
Aaron Martin created the series in which former “Battlestar Galactica” and “The Flash” actress Sackhoff plays an astronaut who leads a crew on a mission to explore the genesis of an alien artifact.
As Niko and her young crew investigate, they face unimaginable danger on what might very well be a one-way mission. The series received overwhelmingly negative reviews in its first season, pulling in just a 33/100 score on Metacritic.
In a post to fans on Twitter, Sackhoff says: “I’d like to thank everyone single person who watched & supported Another Life on @netflix To our crew & cast thank you for always working so hard & being prepared. I wish we could do more seasons but sadly it’s just not in the cards.”
The news comes four months after the release of the second season in October last year.
