NBC has cancelled the Jane Levy-led musical dramedy “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist” after two seasons.
Talks between NBCUniversal and producers Lionsgate TV to move the series to Peacock reportedly broke down.
Lionsgate TV bow plans to shop the award-winning but pricey series around. The show scored strong reviews, but wrapped with just a 0.6 rating in Live+7 – that being a drop of 14% from its first season.
Skylar Austin, Alex Newell, Peter Gallagher, Mary Steenburgen and Lauren Graham co-starred in the series.
