Actress & singer Nabiyah Be has been revealed to be playing Tilda Johnson, aka. Nightshade, in Ryan Coogler’s upcoming “Black Panther” feature at Marvel Studios.
In the comics, Nightshade is a genius supervillain who first debuted back in the 1970s and has faced-off against the likes of Captain America, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Black Panther over the years.
The actress’ sister recently confirmed her character’s identity on Twitter, pointing out her brief appearance in a shot alongside Michael B. Jordan’s Killmonger in the “Black Panther” teaser trailer.
“Black Panther” is slated to open in February.
