Hulu has given a script-to-series commitment to a dramatic TV series based on the classic video game franchise “Myst,” the biggest selling game franchise of the 1990s.
Legendary Television, “Divergent” scribe Evan Daugherty and “The Amazing Spider-Man” producer Matt Tolmach are behind this adaptation.
The story aims to explore the origins of a mysterious island where an amnesiac man awakens and has no idea who he is or how he got there.
Legendary acquired the rights last Fall and Hulu commissioned a script which, upon the approval it has now received, would trigger a straight to series order.
