Murphy Teases “Prom,” Talks AHS Shoot

Emmy winning producer Ryan Murphy has revealed the first set photo from his upcoming film adaptation of Broadway musical comedy feature “The Prom”.

Oscar winners Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman, Emmy nominee Kerry Washington and James Corden along with Andrew Rannells and Keegan-Michael Key star in the film which could premiere on Netflix as early as this Christmas.

Set in Indiana, the story follows a group of four down-and-out theater actors who tries to help a teenage girl whose school prom was cancelled when she tried to bring her girlfriend as her prom date.

Murphy also announced that production on the upcoming tenth season of FX’s horror anthology series “American Horror Story” has finally been scheduled to begin filming this coming October.

Murphy, who shared a cryptic image of razor-sharp teeth which he confirms is a clue for the new season’s theme, added “Thanks to everyone who is working hard to assure a safe start for the cast and crew.”

Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross, Finn Wittrock and Macaulay Culkin star in the newest season.
