Revealed during the D23 panel, the iconic movie classic “The Muppet Christmas Carol” will finally be released in its full uncut state on the service starting December 11th.

Often considered one of the best adaptations of Charles Dickens’ classic “A Christmas Carol” tale, the original film saw a key ballad number titled “When Love is Gone” cut from the movie by none other than Jeffrey Katzenberg himself.

The Paul Williams-penned song unfolds in the Christmas Past section of the film when Scrooge considers his past mistakes including letting the love of his life, Belle (Meredith Braun), slip away. The song laments that lost love and recreates the time she chooses to leave him.

Brian Henson directed the film which is the fourth theatrical feature in “The Muppets” franchise and the first produced following the death of Muppets creator Jim Henson.
