Multiple Marvel, “Ahsoka” BTS Specials Set

Lucasfilm

A bunch of behind-the-scenes specials are coming for three of the biggest bits of content on the Disney+ service of the Summer.

Following the release of “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” on Disney+ on August 2nd, the streamer has announced the behind-the-scenes special “Marvel Studios’ Assembled: The Making of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” will be available to stream on Disney+ from September 13th.

Next up, Marvel’s “Secret Invasion” series wrapped back at the end of July with a finale that generated a lot of discussion, arguments, ire and headlines.

However you feel about it, you might get some more insight from the behind-the-scenes special “Marvel Studios’ Assembled: The Making of Secret Invasion” which has been announced to premiere on the service on September 20th.

Marvel is also adding two new episodes of their catch-up series “Marvel Studios Legends” on the service on September 29th, with both of those episodes coming ahead of (and tying into) the October release of the second season of “Loki”.

Outside of Marvel, Lucasfilm has set a special about the upcoming “Star Wars: Ahsoka” for release, though curiously, this one is coming halfway through the show’s run.

“Master & Apprentice: A Special Look at Ahsoka” is scheduled to hit the service on September 15th. At that time, five of the eight episodes of “Star Wars: Ahsoka” will have aired, with three more to come afterwards.

This suggests the timing of this release is deliberate. Why? We’ll have to wait and find out. “Star Wars: Ahsoka” will premiere with a double episode this coming Tuesday August 22nd.
