Mos Def has signed on to star in and exec produce “Bobby Zero” reports Variety.
Def will play the romantic lead in the film about a down-on-his-luck social satirist who gives up his artistic aspirations to work at an advertising agency.
Markus and Mason Canter will write and direct the film, which begins shooting in November.
