DreadXP and Epic Pictures Group have announced that Jeremiah Kipp is set to write and direct a film adaptation of the horror video game “The Mortuary Assistant,” which launched last month.
In the game, you follow apprentice Rebecca Owens at River Fields Mortuary. Late one night, she’s called into work to handle some embalmings. But there is something different about these bodies, and soon malevolent spirits bind themselves to her and she must survive the night.
Patrick Ewald will produce. Publisher DreadXP will be in attendance at the Seattle gaming conference this weekend to discuss the title.
