Three of this past Fall’s biggest film failures – one critically, two both critically and commercially – have announced details of their home video releases.
While the critics hated it with a passion, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment have announced that “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” will come to Digital HD on February 15th and disc on March 12th. The film will also receive an Extended Cut, one that contains seven minutes of never-before-seen new footage and bringing the film’s runtime to 141 minutes.
The “Mortal Engines” adaptation, which quickly came and went in early December and turned into one of 2018’s biggest bombs, will be coming home via Universal Studios Home Entertainment on March 12th with both the Digital HD and disc versions hitting on the same day. Special features wise it will include a commentary and some featurettes.
Finally, and following a disappointing theatrical run, Walt Disney Home Entertainment has officially announced a January 29th release both on disc and Digital HD of the live-action fantasy adventure “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” following its disappointing $173.4 million worldwide gross from a $120 million budget.
