Temuera Morrison, who played Jango Fett in “Star Wars: Attack of the Clones,” will appear in the second season of the Disney+ “Star Wars” series “The Mandalorian”.
Morrison will reportedly play Boba Fett, Jango’s cloned son and the bounty hunter who first appeared “The Empire Strikes Back” and seemingly died in “Return of the Jedi” after he fell into a Sarlacc pit. Jeremy Bulloch portrayed the character in the original trilogy.
Boba Fett is expected to have just a small role in the second season after the character was teased in the first season’s fifth episode “The Gunslinger” as a mysterious figure approaching the lifeless body of Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen).
Morrison most recently appeared in 2018’s “Aquaman”. “The Mandalorian” season two is slated to bow in October on the Disney+ service.
